Treatment Pathway
Active Acne Pathway
The Active Acne Pathway locks to Restore · Active Acne. The clinical question is the environment around breakouts — inflammation, barrier, surrounding tissue — not scar remodeling. New patients complete an Online Assessment, Phase 1 payment, and Initial Consultation before Phase 1. Clinical eligibility follows Assessment and consultation. Needling through active inflammatory lesions is not assumed.
The first step is reversible: assessment and clinical interpretation before full program commitment. Package enrollment does not authorize treatment. Required sequence: Online Assessment → practitioner review → $600 Phase 1 payment (Total Est. $620) → Initial Consultation → Eligibility Decision → Phase 1.

Clinical intentions
What this pathway supports
Each focus pairs a clear intention with a specific concern.
Restore
Active Acne
Support the skin environment around active breakouts — inflammation, surrounding tissue, and clinically appropriate management. Microneedling of active inflammatory lesions is not assumed; assessment determines what is safe to do now.
Decision logic
“I am ready to stop experimenting and enter a more considered process that determines what my skin actually needs.”
01 · Recognition
The recognition moment
You may be living with persistent or cycling breakouts — congestion, inflammation, marks that arrive without a schedule you can trust. The skin can feel like it is still narrating a chapter you wanted closed.
- Active breakouts, congestion, or inflammation
- Cycles that feel hard to anticipate
- Makeup and products that no longer keep pace with flares
02 · Meaning
What it may be affecting
The tension is predictability and control — the sense that the face can undermine confidence without warning.
- Confidence shaped around flare-ups or lighting
- Avoidance of photographs, angles, or close proximity
- Exhaustion from product cycling without a coordinated plan
03 · Attempts
What you have probably tried
Drugstore systems, prescriptions, peels, facials, supplements, dietary experiments, and conflicting online routines are common.
- Prescription and over-the-counter acne care
- Peels, facials, and constant product switching
- Advice that treats breakouts and scars as one problem
04 · Plateau
Why those attempts may have plateaued
Symptom-chasing can leave the pattern unaddressed. Without sequencing — stabilize the environment first — effort stays expensive and incomplete.
05 · Support
What microneedling may support
Within Restore · Active Acne, care starts with the skin environment. Paced collagen-induction may belong later, and only when timing is clinically appropriate. Needling through active inflammatory lesions is not assumed.
- A plan for inflammation and surrounding tissue
- Clear distinction from scar remodeling
- Progress assessed over time — not promised as clearance
06 · Restraint
When microneedling may not be appropriate
Microneedling is not assumed. Active inflammation, unsafe timing, or goals that require a different modality can pause or redirect care.
- Active inflammatory acne that needs stabilization first
- Medical collaboration or referral when indicated
- Promises that needling will clear breakouts
07 · Eligibility
How eligibility is determined
Assessment and Initial Consultation determine whether — and when — microneedling belongs in your plan. Enrollment alone does not authorize treatment.
- Online Assessment and practitioner review
- Initial Consultation and Microneedling Test
- Eligibility, modification, deferral, or referral when needed
08 · Realism
What improvement can realistically mean
A more considered process for the skin environment — not a miracle session, and not the same work as lifting established scars.
- Stabilization may come before remodeling
- A series is more credible than a single intensive visit
- Honesty about what microneedling can and cannot change
09 · First step
The first reversible step
Start with assessment and clinical interpretation — not a purchase of microneedling. Eligibility and sequencing come before commitment to a full pathway.
Optional add-on
Home Celluma rental
In-visit LED stays in this pathway. A take-home Celluma panel is a separate monthly rental — discounted when added to the $3,000 program.
Rent 1–6 months with a refundable one-month deposit. Pathway patients pay the add-on rate. Microneedling still requires Online Assessment.
