Every brand begins with a question. For The Regenerative Studio, the question was how to offer assessment-led microneedling care with the same unhurried integrity Federica Mingotti had learned in acupuncture — paced, precise, and never promised.
For Ming Acupuncture, the sister question was different but related: how to bring Chinese medicine, herbalism, and food energetics forward in their own voice — without folding them into a microneedling marketing site that was never meant to carry them.
Sister sciences, not a single storefront
We use the phrase sister sciences deliberately. Microneedling and acupuncture both work with the body’s capacity to repair, regulate, and adapt — but they answer different presentations, carry different scopes, and deserve different front doors.
The Regenerative Studio lives at Wen Acupuncture & Wellness in Glen Allen, focused on collagen remodeling, barrier health, and paced skin renewal through clinical microneedling. Ming Acupuncture practices within Health Link Family Chiropractic in Mechanicsville, focused on pain, movement, digestion, pelvic health, fertility support, stress, sleep, and long-term vitality through acupuncture and integrative Chinese medicine.
Same legal entity. Same foundational values. Two thresholds — because patients should know which door they are walking through before they call.
The shared mark
Both brands carry a family mark: the conservatory arch from The Regenerative Studio, drawn as the handle of a modern acupuncture needle. It is not decoration. It is a reminder that these practices grew from one cultivated standard — wholeness, curiosity, integrity — even as the clinical surfaces diverged.
A studio is more than a room. It is a set of standards that can be recognized — in skin, in function, in how a visit begins and ends.
What building both brands asked of us
Separating the brands was slower than launching one combined site would have been. It meant duplicate design systems, isolated booking paths, distinct Journal surfaces, and the discipline to keep Regenerative Studio commerce off the acupuncture site entirely.
That slowness was the point. Federica’s path began in naturopathic study in Italy, continued through massage therapy and acupuncture, and eventually arrived at microneedling as a clinical complement — not a replacement for the whole-person work she had always practiced. Building two brands was how we honored both truths without asking either patient to parse the other on the way in.

Read the other side of the story
Ming Acupuncture’s Journal carries the acupuncture-facing version of this journey — how the Mechanicsville practice came to life, why phone booking through Health Link matters, and what “restore function, build lasting vitality” means in clinic.

If microneedling is what brought you here, begin with the Online Assessment. If acupuncture and integrative support are the better fit, Ming Acupuncture is the right threshold — and we are glad both exist.
