Treatment Pathway

Acne Scar Remodeling Pathway

The Acne Scar Remodeling Pathway locks to Refine · Acne Scar Remodeling. It addresses atrophic scarring, tethering, and uneven collagen after inflammation has already remodeled poorly. New patients complete an Online Assessment, a 15-minute online consultation, practitioner recommendation, and Phase 1 payment before Phase 1 treatment. Clinical eligibility follows Assessment and consultation.

The first step is reversible: assessment and a free 15-minute virtual consultation before any Phase 1 payment. Package enrollment does not authorize treatment. Required sequence: Online Assessment → Initial Free 15-Minute Virtual Consultation → Eligibility Decision → Phase 1 Payment, when approved → Phase 1. Cancelling any Signature Pathway at any time incurs a $100 cancellation fee. A same-day visit cancel or a missed Saturday is also $100 while you remain on the pathway.

Clinical intentions

What this pathway supports

Each focus pairs a clear intention with a specific concern.

  • Refine

    Acne Scar Remodeling

Support atrophic scarring, post-acne irregularity, and collagen remodeling through paced clinical care — a different strategy from active inflammatory acne.

Decision logic

I am ready to stop experimenting and enter a more considered process that determines what my skin actually needs.

01 · Recognition

The recognition moment

The acne may have quieted, yet texture, pits, and marks remain. The skin can still feel like it is narrating a chapter you wanted closed.

  • Pitted or uneven scarring and residual marks
  • Makeup that emphasizes texture instead of concealing it
  • A sense that the past is still the first thing you see

02 · Meaning

What it may be affecting

The tension is unfinished resolution — the original condition has ended, yet appearance continues to communicate it.

  • Confidence shaped around lighting and angles
  • Avoidance of photographs or close proximity
  • Fatigue from procedures that never formed a sequence

03 · Attempts

What you have probably tried

Lasers, subcision, fillers, peels, and at-home rollers often join years of acne products. Scar research commonly treats “acne scars” as one category.

  • One-off scar procedures without a measured series
  • Coverage, filters, and lighting strategies
  • Advice that blurs active acne with established architecture

04 · Plateau

Why those attempts may have plateaued

Creams cannot substantially remodel structural scarring. Without sequencing — stabilize when needed, then revise — effort stays expensive and incomplete.

05 · Support

What microneedling may support

Within Refine · Acne Scar Remodeling, paced collagen-induction care may support texture remodeling when scarring is the concern and timing is clinically appropriate.

  • Scar texture remodeling across a measured series
  • Clear distinction from breakout management
  • Progress assessed over time — not promised as erasure

06 · Restraint

When microneedling may not be appropriate

Microneedling is not assumed. Active inflammation, scar morphology outside what needling can help, or goals that require a different modality can pause or redirect care.

  • Active inflammatory acne that needs a different pathway first
  • Scar types better served by adjunctive or alternative care
  • Promises of completely smooth skin

07 · Eligibility

How eligibility is determined

Assessment and Initial Consultation determine whether — and when — microneedling belongs in your plan. The studio distinguishes breakout management from scar revision rather than selling a single protocol.

  • Online Assessment and practitioner review
  • Initial Consultation and Microneedling Test
  • Eligibility, modification, deferral, or referral when needed

08 · Realism

What improvement can realistically mean

Meaningful repair so the past is no longer the first thing you see — improvement, not perfection; remodeling, not concealment.

  • Scar type and severity shape likely outcome
  • A series is more credible than a miracle session
  • Honesty about what microneedling can and cannot change

09 · First step

The first reversible step

Start with assessment and clinical interpretation — not a purchase of microneedling. Eligibility and sequencing come before commitment to a full pathway.
